A few of our recent softwood decking projects in London.

The vast majority of garden decks are constructed out of pressure treated softwood. Decking projects using softwood, should last for at least fifteen - maybe 25 years. The treatment is normally Tanalith-E, which is the construction industry norm for anti rot, anti decay properties. Softwood decking treated with Tanalith-E is totally environment friendly. These London decks have all be constructed using softwood, and other than the odd bit of post-winter cleaning, will require very little in the way of maintenance. They will need no further preservative treatment, but can be stained if desired, using a high quality timber stain, such as those produced by Sadolin.
