This client was soon the envy of all his neighbours after we
installed this roof terrace decking. It’s not hard to see why, when
you compare the neighbour's terrace with the newly decked version.
Clever use of timber planter boxes and storage aided in the strength of the
balustrade and eliminated the need to penetrate into the walls to
fix posts. This was a huge saving with the same high quality, high
strength result.
The roof top deck proved to be a great way at getting to the sun!
Quite important with the type of weather we are having in UK
summers.
At Greater London decking, we work to all building and planning
regulation requirements, and in this case the balustrades are fixed
at the correct height.
The timber planters were constructed from the same grade
tanalised treated timber as the rest of the deck. As well as
ensuring durability, it will also mean that the whole deck project
will weather down in a consistent manner.
