Red Cedar Roof Terrace Deck in Knightsbridge West London

Red Cedar is quite a light timber, so was the obvious choice for this roof deck in Central London. Red Cedar, is a great decking timber, and is very light. However it is also a soft timber (Softwood) and can be prone to damage from impact and also from 'high heel' traffic!

Like all timber outside -  unless stained - red Cedar tones down eventually to a light grey colour.

This roof terrace deck was the ideal setting for the container grown plants - making it a true outside room.

Planters and plant combine to finish off the deck - and turn it into a proper 'garden deck' - or decking garden!
