Raised Decking in Beckenham – Southeast London

This raised deck in Beckenham, really looks superb with the glass panels in the balustrade. The client wanted a safe area without ruining the view into the large garden so glass was the obvious choice. We used 10mm toughened clear glass but there are other options, including  frosted or laminated glass.

Another feature of this raised deck, is the willow screening to one side. This gives a nice contrast as well as preventing the client’s neighbours from overlooking the new deck. Plants and climbers can grow up from the base of the screen or trailing down from pots that sitting on top of the screen.

In this case the client preferred to leave the underneath of the deck open and allow some carefully selected plants to grow up. Tasteful outdoor furniture on the raised deck, provided a classy finishing touch.
