Raised Decking in Whyteleafe – Surrey

This unusually-shaped deck in Surrey, was constructed using European Redwood – smooth board. The steep and uneven nature of the rear garden meant the clients had a large area but nowhere to entertain or enjoy the lovely views. This made it a perfect place for a well constructed raised deck.

The Greater London Decking team was given a brief outline from the client on what was required and the rest was classic ‘design whilst building’ to create this deck on the hill to dine, relax, barbeque or just take in the view!
 
The new deck was built with storage underneath to eliminate the need for a garden shed. Privacy trellis was used to give a nice finish to the under-side of the deck. This will all weather down to the same colour as the deck itself.
 
What a view! When these clients get their new summer house and outdoor furniture this will truly be an outdoor room.
