Raised Decking in Wimbledon –
Southwest London
This raised deck was constructed using Yellow Balau hardwood. The
underneath of the decking in the front area has been water-proofed
using torch-on felt which is the same product that is used on most
flat roofing in the U.K. This provides ample dry storage space for
bikes, tools and paint – whatever the client used to keep in the
shed!
We installed super privacy trellis and framed it with matching
deck-board to screen from the neighbours. We also fitted a child
gate so the young toddler can’t go wondering into the depths of the
garden.
Solid timber cladding along the front of the raised decking
completes the ‘wooden’ look of this deck. These are just some of the
decking extras provided by the Greater London Decking Team.

The quality of workmanship here shows through, with the decking
