This deck was built using Yellow Balau Hardwood. The client had a vision but could not find anyone to turn it into reality – until he contacted the Greater London Decking team. After being told the build was ‘impossible’ he had almost given up. He was amazed that after four days of work the Greater London Decking carpenters had completed the deck and were packing up the van and ready the next job!
The raised, circular part of this deck is situated perfectly, to get the last of the afternoon sun. A perfect place to for a couple of sun-loungers and maybe enjoy a sun-downer after work.
If you are planning to re-turf your garden as well as build a deck always have the deck built first. This gives a better finish and eliminates any damage to new turf caused by sawdust etc which occurs when building a deck.
