Patio Decking in Orpington – South

This small but perfectly formed deck was constructed using Yellow
Balau hardwood. The client had a garden with lots of curves and did
not want to use straight edges for her decking. New French
doors had just been installed coming out of the kitchen, so it
needed a deck with a couple of steps to gain access to the garden
and - of course - to put a small table and chairs.
The final request was for the deck to be fully ‘boxed in’ to
prevent foxes and other rodents from nesting underneath. Some solid
timber cladding along the front and sides should stop them!
It’s not especially easy to bend a hardwood fascia around a curve
such as this one but the experience of the Greater London Decking
team over-came the challenge with ease!
A tricky curved deck. Not too much of a problem for the team.
