Hardwood Decking In Abbey Wood – South East London

This large hardwood deck was constructed using Yellow Balau hardwood. It provides an excellent area for the residents at this rest home to enjoy the beautiful gardens. The finished deck height is the same as the floor level in the two conservatories to provide a fantastic indoor/outdoor flow.

As this was a commercial project for a leading construction company, there were strict specifications that needed to be adhered to including loading, dimensions, and most of all Health and Safety. This was no problem for Greater London Decking as meeting these requirements are standard for every project we work on, big or small. Together with this, the team have the expertise and experience in carpentry skills to tackle a hardwood deck. Hardwood decks require a lot more care - and perfection - in construction.

General view of this hardwood deck from lower down the garden Whaw - This image view certainly shows the quality of workmanship on this hardwood deck. The deck is now more or less ready to use. The furniture is being moved into place anyway! A curved finish to this hardwood deck, with fascia and balustrade simply exudes craftsmanship and resultant overall quality

The curved hand-rail on this project posed too much of a problem for other decking companies. The Greater London Decking team saw it as a challenge and, to the architects delight delivered another perfect project on time, and on budget!
