Hardwood Decking in Clapham – South London

This deck was constructed using Yellow Balau Hardwood. Unfortunately for the client they were unable to have the level of the deck the same as the floor level due to planning restrictions. Despite this the Greater London Decking team were able to create a fantastic outdoor space that flows nicely from the new extension.

Planters built into the decking provide a nice natural boundary between the deck and the lawn. The seating and storage provide an ideal place to have a table or just to sit and admire the surroundings.

The Greater London Decking team were careful to hide any framework by cladding along the front with hardwood deck board. This finishes the build well as well as preventing any foxes or rats from creeping underneath.

 

Horizontal Hardwood Fence

The horizontal fence is also constructed using Yellow Balau hardwood. This is certainly not the cheapest fence one might choose but looks great and blends in well with the new decking.
